Popular returning favorites will include Dynamo Dogs/Agility demonstrations, face painters, balloon artists, carnival games, tailgating games, arts & crafts, a pet zone and much more!
An action-packed dance and music entertainment line-up will also take place at this year's Park Day Main Stage. The lineup will include local dance groups as well as several of Charleston's best party bands playing a variety of music styles.with uniquely diverse song selection. So please join us as we know you'll have a great time at Park Day.
Park Day will also offer a "Food Truck Rodeo" with extensive food and beverage options and a plethora of tasty lunch items of all kinds. There will also be lots of "Field of Treats On The Go" cart vendors with many of your favorite concession vendors. The Daniel Island Grille will set up an on-site Sports Pub, offering food, wine, beer and several big screen TV’s for watching your favorite college football games.
Since its inception fifteen years ago, Park Day has helped raise more than $370,000 for a diverse collection of more than 64 area non-profit organizations, making it one of the region’s most successful and broad-reaching charitable events. Once again this year, proceeds from ticketed activities will benefit our chosen 2017 Park Day Non-Profit beneficiary - Pet Helpers.
Park Day takes place on Saturday, November 11th from 11 am – 4 pm at Etiwan Park, located on Seven Farms Drive. Admission and parking are free. In order to raise money for the benefiting non-profit organization, some activities require a fee. For more information, visit www.danielislandparkday.com.
